Cathy spent 17 years in public accounting focusing on tax planning and preparation, estate planning, and management advisory services. During her tenure, she spent 4years providing litigation support and forensic accounting services to a variety of law firms. Subsequently, she engaged in business consulting where she specialized in building infrastructures for businesses and assessing areas of weaknesses for internal controls as well as efficiency.
She is an innovator in systems processes, optimizing resources and creating the highest level of operational excellence. Her proven track record of creating teams that are driven by a culture of engagement provides a leading edge in performance and client satisfaction. Always in demand as a resource by boards of directors and business leaders, Cathy is often commissioned for opinions on corporate policy, leadership initiatives, and best practices. Her personal philosophy and commitment to excellence are the driving force that creates continuous motivation and performance on her teams.
Cathy has a passion for helping others and providing opportunities that allow for personal growth and development. She has served as an instructor for Junior Achievement, a mentor for business students at the University of North Texas, and received Board Member of the Year from Big Brothers & Sisters of Denton County. She is actively serving on the boards of the Young Men’s Service League and Taylor’s Foundation.
A native Texan, Cathy has a BBA from the University of Texas at Arlington, is a Certified Public Accountant, Chartered Global Management Accountant, and Lean Six Sigma Certified by Purdue University. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of CPAs. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and is a self-professed foodie. She loves spending time with her husband and children.
